Discipleship by A.W. Tozer | Review

This is a collection of A.W. Tozer’s most popular writings on the subject of discipleship. He explains what it means to be a disciple, how to live as a disciple, and how to be a disciple in today’s world. Though these were written years ago, every word is just as true today.

The goal in putting this collection together is for the readers to learn how to follow Christ more ardently, become like Him, and glorify Him.

I appreciated just how blunt and honest he was, though sometimes he came across as somewhat arrogant, and it got very dense to read. However, I did really enjoy and learn much from this book. There were so many “wow” moments that made me stop and think, and I took the opportunity to journal, which I would recommend to anyone who reads this book.

Overall, I did enjoy reading this book. I think he made some excellent points and it could really open one’s eyes. I gave this 3/5 stars.
